Teacher

Nancy came into contact with the TMT-Ke in the year 2010 after her primary examination, where she attained 341 marks. Her caregivers opted to send her to a tailoring course since they could not afford a secondary school fee. “Then, miraculously, my primary head teacher advised me to visit the TMT offices, where we met many pupils who were seeking the same opportunity. After some oral interviews, I was lucky to be accepted in the program.”

She was then enrolled at Rangala Girls' School, where she studied until her third year. Thereafter, she was transferred to St. Paul’s Nyandoche. In her new school, she scored a mean grade of B- in her secondary school’s national examination. The Geography and CRE teacher narrates that TMT again enrolled her at Tangaza University College to pursue a degree in Education for four years. She was the first principal of The Mango Tree Girls' School.
