Empowering farmers to participate in environment conservation at the same time gain some family income from this effort. The Mango Tree has been championing the planting of fruit trees especially grafted mango.  TMT noticed a remarkable increase in income from farmers who had been supported to plant mangos before. 52 households recorded impressive household income increases through the sales of Mango fruits. The average number of fruits produced per household was 2000 fruits earning the farmers an average of Ksh 20,000 in this season. 

Through these sales, these farmers are sure of keeping their children in school and also have at least a fruit in their diet enhancing their health and better living conditions.
